Police: 18-year-old Driver Killed In Columbia Crash
COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- Police say an 18-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Columbia.
Howard County police say Sahan Kalegana Koralage of Elkridge was speeding and wasn't wearing a seat belt when his car ran off Governor Warfield Parkway on Saturday night.
The car struck a tree and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
