Police: 1 Killed, 3 Critical, 1 Injured in Overnight Shootings

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- One man was killed, three more were fighting for their lives and another was seriously injured after three shootings played out across Baltimore overnight, authorities said Thursday.

About 1:50 a.m., patrol officers were called a reported shooting in the 3600 block of Garrison Boulevard, according to police. That's where they found a 22-year-old man shot multiple times. A block away, they found a second victim shot in the arms and legs. Paramedics rushed both victims to the hospital, where the 22-year-old died and the second man was listed in critical condition.

Hours earlier, just after 11 p.m., patrol officers responding to a shooting reported in the 3400 block of Clifton Avenue located a 53-year-old man shot in the upper and lower body, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A second victim in that shooting, a 28-year-old man, was also hospitalized. At last check, his condition was not known.

Before 10:30 p.m., officers investigating a call in the 2500 block of Hollins Street found a 41-year-old man shot multiple times. Police suspect that man, who was hospitalized in critical condition, was shot in the 100 block of South Franklintown Road and then ran to the location where they found him before collapsing.
