Pepco Says It Has Restored Power To 90 Percent Of Those Affected By Storms
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Pepco says it has restored power to 90 percent of those affected by last week's storms, beating its own estimate for getting power back to customers.
The Washington-area utility said Wednesday that nearly 400,000 customers had power restored. Some 46,000 remained without power about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Pepco says its estimate to restore power to remaining customers is still late Friday.
