Officer Wounded After Shootout
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A shootout with a suspect has left a city officer wounded.
Investigators say it happened around 1 a.m. Saturday on North Calvert and Baltimore streets.
Police say the officer was responding to a call of a man with a gun when the shootout began.
The officer was shot in the upper body and he's recovering at Shock Trauma.
