Officer Injured In Multi-Car Crash
MILLERSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- An Anne Arundel County police officer was injured Wednesday morning in a multi-car crash.
According to police, the officer was rear-ended when three vehicles collided around 8:30 a.m. on Interstate 97, just past exit 7.
I-97 was closed for several hours for an investigation in both directions, however lanes have since reopened.
The officer was airlifted to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released and is resting at home.
