Officer Installed Camera In Glen Burnie HS Bathroom To Deter Smoking
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ)—There's finally an explanation behind the Anne Arundel police officer suspended for putting a camera inside a Glen Burnie High School bathroom.
Police say the officer installed the camera to deter students from smoking. That's according to the Capital-Gazette.
Police say the camera was put in plain sight and did not record on transmit any images.
The officer was reinstated last week and will not face any charges.
