Nearly 3.5 Million Marylanders Already Have REAL IDs, New Deadline May 3, 2023
ANNAPOLIS (WJZ) — You now have more time to get your REAL ID.
The October 1 enforcement deadline had been pushed back by more than a year due to the coronavirus. The new deadline is May 3 2023.
Under the REAL ID law, anyone 18 years or older will need the enhanced license or another TSA acceptable form of ID to board a domestic flight.
MDOT said nearly three and half million Marylanders already have their REAL IDs.
