MVS NFL POWER RANKINGS: ALLISON RANKS! - Week #6

ALLISON RANKS!: Week 6

1 Baltimore Ravens –  The Ravens got their running game to join the party this week and can truly now say they are clicking on all levels.

2 New York Jets- The Jets defense forced Dirty Old Man Favre into 3 turnovers and held on to win on the leg of Nick Folk.

3.  New England Patriots- The best thing to come out of Patriots camp last week, the supposed dialog between Tom Brady and Randy Moss…

Brady: "You need to shave your beard"

Moss: "You need to cut your hair. You look like a girl"

4.  Pittsburgh Steelers- Big Ben the (alleged) ra**st makes his debut this week against Cleveland and their 8th string QB.

5.  Atlanta Falcons- Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White… Those are the names of the Falcons we all know, but little known defensive players are stepping up week after week for the Falcons as they keep on winning.

6.  Indianapolis Colts- A visibly frustrated Manning was able to pull his team together to get a win against the previously undefeated Chiefs on Sunday.

7.  Chicago Bears- Forrest Matt Forte Gump ran and ran and ran and ran.   He just kept on running 'til he didn't feel like runnin anymore.

8.  Green Bay Packers – The Packers are in big trouble if Aaron Rodgers' concussion lingers for a couple weeks.

9.  Tennessee Titans- A huge special teams play created the go-ahead touchdown for the Titans, as the Titans did what the Cowboys refuse to do, run the ball to victory.

10.  Washington Redskins- The Redskins are winning games they would have never won under the regimes of the recent past.  Shanahan has brought a winning attitude to a locker room that had talent, but lacked belief.

11.  New York Giants- The Jekyll and Hyde Giants proved that their defense is legit as the sacks keep coming and they're able to stop the run.  Eli has found a new favorite receiver in Hakeem Nicks.

12.  New Orleans Saints – Brees threw a bunch of uncharacteristic picks on Sunday as the Saints showed they are not the same bunch that won the Superbowl last season.

13.  San Diego Chargers – Philip Rivers passed for 431 yards as the Chargers offense racked up over 500 yards of offense, but still lost to the Raiders.

14.  Houston Texans- The Texans rushed for a season low 25 points and couldn't get their passing offense going either.

15.  Kansas City Chiefs- Kansas City's trick play to start off the game didn't end well and either did the game for the Chiefs trying to stay the last unbeaten team this season.

16.  Miami Dolphins-  The Dolphins need to pull it together after this bye week and get back on track.

Bottom Feeder:  San Francisco 49ers.  The 49ers were my lock of the week.  Shows how much I know.  Alex Smith got booed off the field several times this week and now has to deal with his starting job being considered "week to week."
