Multiple People Injured in Crofton Fire
CROFTON, Md. (WJZ)—Multiple people were injured after a fire broke out Wednesday night in Anne Arundel County.
Firefighters responded to the 1600 block of Bancroft Lane in Crofton just after 8:00 p.m. for a reported fire.
31 firefighters battled the blaze which was under control in nearly 45 minutes, officials said.
According to authorities 1 firefighter and two civilians were injured in the blaze. The firefighter was treated for minor lacerations; two civilians were transported to an area hospital for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
