Morgan State University Exploring Partnership To Bring New Medical School To Its Campus
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Morgan State University could get a new medical school by as soon as 2023 if a strategic partnership pans out.
The university said Thursday its board of regents has approved issuing a letter of intent to partner with Salud Education to create a College of Osteopathic Medicine.
University officials said it would be a first-of-its-kind for a historically black college or university and would be the first new medical school to launch at an HBCU in decades.
