Metro Open Later For New Year's Holiday
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro will stay open later for New Year's Eve and operate on a weekend schedule on the first day of the new year.
Metro says that for New Year's Eve on Tuesday train stations will stay open two hours later than on a normal weekday, until 2 a.m.
On Wednesday, New Year's Day, trains and buses will operate on a Sunday schedule. Train stations will open at 7 a.m. and close at midnight.
