ME Confirms Md. Family Shooter Killed Himself

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says an autopsy confirms that an Adamstown man committed suicide after shooting his mother and sister.

Cpl. Jennifer Bailey announced the findings Friday in the death of  John Ming Lee, 26.

She says Lee shot himself in the head in a car after fleeing the family's house Thursday morning.

Police believe Lee also shot his 50-year-old mother Siach Song in the back and wounded 18-year-old sister Amy Zheng with a shot that hit her lower arms and facial area.

Lee's father, 58-year-old Jingmin Zheng, was hurt jumping from a second-floor window.

All three are recovering at the University of Maryland Medical Center's Shock Trauma unit in Baltimore.
