Md. To Inspect Dover Bridge After Weekend Crash
PRESTON, Md. (AP) -- State Highway Administration inspectors will be checking the Dover Bridge over the Choptank River after a weekend crash.
SHA will alternate traffic over the bridge between Caroline and Talbot counties on Tuesday while inspectors check the bridge from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
A vehicle that was too tall for the bridge struck the top of the bridge over the weekend. Officials say the bridge is safe, but crews will inspect the bridge again to ensure the structural integrity.
