Temperatures will be mild in the mid-70s during the day, but there is potential for severe weather later.

Kids will have just a few hours to get the trick-or-treating this evening. The best time would be between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The day will begin with rain starting at midnight and will last all the way through the morning and into the early afternoon. Rain could taper off around 2 p.m. just in time for trick-or-treating. The rain will be on and off during the late afternoon into the early evening. But it's after 7 p.m. when the risk for severe weather is high.

Several communities have already rescheduled trick-or-treating.

WJZ also has a list of indoor locations where you can trick-or-treat.
