Man Sentenced To 15 Years For Raping 12-Year-Old Girl
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- An Annapolis man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for second degree sex offense and second degree rape for assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
Officials say Daniel Rivera raped the girl in the back of a laundromat off of Forest Drive. They say he told her to lie to her mother and say she was playing on the computer and that he'd hurt her if she told anyone what had happened.
Rivera also has to register as a Tier III sex offender, which is a lifetime registration.
