Father Charged In Death Of Baby Girl In Allegany County
CRESAPTOWN, Md. (WJZ) --A Maryland man is facing murder charges after his infant girl dies at the hospital.
According to police, Kyle J. Poindexter, of Allegany County, contacted his neighbors on Friday when his daughter Avery had trouble breathing.
The baby girl was taken to the hospital where doctors noticed bruises on her head and face and told police. Baby Avery was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Doctors ruled the cause of death was a head injury and the manner of death was homicide.
Poindexter has been charged with second degree murder, first degree and second degree assault and reckless endangerment.
