Man Accused Of Stealing Scrap Metal
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Annapolis police have arrested a man they say broke into a business and stole scrap metal.
It happened about 2:40 p.m. Saturday on Margaret Avenue. Officers say the business owner say a man inside a storage cage and confronted him.
Police say the man assaulted the business owner and ran away. Police caught the man nearby.
Forty-three-year-old Samuel Joyce of Annapolis has been charged with burglary, theft and assault. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
