Man, 20, Shot Outside Condo Complex
MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say a 20-year-old man was shot and critically wounded outside a condominium complex in Montgomery Village.
The shooting occurred late Saturday night. Police say the victim, who's from Gaithersburg, met a group of people in the parking lot of the condos, and someone opened fire on him as he was walking away.
The man fled a short distance before collapsing in the northbound lanes of Montgomery Village Avenue.
Police say the man was taken to a trauma center and was in grave condition Sunday.
