At Maple Lawn Farm in Fulton, turkey orders are stacking up.

All year long,  people flock to maple lawn farm.

"I think it's fun for people to see the turkeys," said farm visitor Lori Lease.

Whether to admire the animals, or prepare for their holiday feast.

"Started coming here years ago, only turkey I buy," said Mary Alexander.

The family farm has been producing turkeys since 1938.

"We have continued the tradition through my father in law and now our family & our kids are doing it that's the fourth generation," Chris Bohrer, Maple Lawn Farm.

Maple Lawn Farm sells 20,000 turkeys a year, but thanksgiving is their busiest time, when they harvest about 18,000 for the holiday alone.

"Wholesome and natural grown in our fields with a natural feed and we process it very minimally," said Bohrer.

The farm is proud to see families return every year.

"It's an experience they enjoy as a family and you have people who have been coming 40-50 years," said Bohrer.

A family trade and tradition that continues with every generation...

"It's a lot of comfort in that knowing we are supporting the local economy & the way they are raised," said Mary Alexander.

Orders for turkeys are piling up they expect their busiest day to be Tuesday.

The turkeys range in size from 10 to 50 pounds.
