Governor Larry Hogan Waves Green Flag At NASCAR Race
BALTIMORE (WJZ) - Governor Larry Hogan took to the track this holiday weekend.
The Governor served as the starter for the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Sunday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.
Governor Hogan wrote on his Facebook page it was a "sincere honor" to wave the green flag.
During his trip, he also ran into and snagged a photo with Honorary Race Grand Marshall, actor Channing Tatum.
Austin Dillon won the race, earning his first NASCAR cup victory.
