Investigation Underway After AACO Teen Suffers Severe Head Injuries At Party

RIVA, Md. (WJZ) -- An Anne Arundel County teen is in critical condition after allegedly falling down a flight of steps at a party.

Police say friends dropped the 19-year-old victim off at Anne Arundel Medical Center with severe head injuries.

It's believed she was drinking when she fell down a flight of steps at 421 Granville Drive in Riva.

Police say other teens were also drinking at the party.

The victim is now at Shock Trauma in critical condition.

The exact cause of her injuries remains under investigation.
