MSP Helicopter Helps Rescue Injured Hiker

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Maryland State Police helicopter crew helped rescue an injured hiker in Frederick County Sunday.

The hiker, a 48-year-old man, was injured when he fell in a crevice 30 feet below.

Maryland State Police helicopter Trooper 3 assisted Frederick County Fire and Rescue crews with getting the injured hiker out and transported to a Baltimore hospital.
