Sulfuric Acid Spill Caused Traffic Delays At Harbor Tunnel

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --Hazmat was called to the south end of the Harbor Tunnel after authorities say a truck began leaking sulfuric acid.

Crews were on the scene just south of the toll plaza investigating the spill on Sunday afternoon.

Officials say a container on a truck began leaking a small amount of sulfuric acid.

Some traffic delays were caused due to the cleanup.

Authorities say there was no danger to the public.
