Harford County Man Dies 3 Days After Scooter Lands on Him
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A Harford County man has died three days after he was ejected from his scooter on South Tollgate Road.
Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, officers discovered 28-year-old Nicholas Ryan Schmitt who they believe struck a curb and was thrown from his scooter which landed on him.
Schmitt died a the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Investigators believe alcohol and speed were not a factor. The Harford County Sheriff's Office asks anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call 443-409-3324.
