Harford County Man Arrested After Shooting Girlfriend

DARLINGTON, Md. (WJZ) -- A Harford County man is arrested after shooting his girlfriend.

Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Robinson Mill Road in Darlington for reports of a person who'd been shot.

They found a 43-year-old woman with shotgun wounds to the upper arm.

She was flown to Shock Trauma to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators later determined the victim had been driven from the scene after she was shot by her boyfriend.

The 46-year-old suspect was taken into custody without incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
