Since most of the holiday magic in Baltimore takes place in and around the Inner Harbor, Henderson's Wharf makes for the perfect base from which to explore the winter wonderland. Its beautiful and spacious lobby is filled with a Christmas tree, glittering with golden decorations, and holly hung at every corner to make the holiday visitor feel the warmth of the seasonal spirit as they look out over the harbor from the vantage of the hotel, perfectly situated to sit directly on the water. Guests are quite satisfied with the amenities as well, which include such things as a wine event in the lobby, tea delivered directly to your room in the morning and a personal butler for each guest. The hotel is a renovated historical building which used to be a tobacco factory, and the original brickwork remains, giving it an historic air that mixes perfectly with the outside cobblestone gardens. Grab a room at this inn, then set off to explore the city.

An annual event, the Baltimore Christmas Village brings a bit of the German Christmas spirit to America. Featuring several towering Christmas trees decked in the traditional German Christmas style, this open-air event features rows of booths marketing wines, foods, treats, decorations and other German-made products with a keenly Christmas theme. Additionally, the event hosts a variety of performances running all throughout the day during the month it dominates the Baltimore scene. These events include, of course, music, but also dances, plays, comedic displays and more. The Baltimore Christmas Village was a tremendously popular event since its first appearance in 2013, and aims to get bigger and better in the continuing years.
