It's almost unbelievable what the Orioles are doing this season. I know we've all said it to our family and friends, heck I talk about it some way shape or form on my show. But just because we are witnessing it doesn't mean it's still not the most surprising thing I've seen in a long time. A rare thing in sports nowadays with all the money, fame, attention and scrutiny that a team can gel the way this team has.

If we take a honest inventory of the personnel, rotation, depth and injuries it's astounding, moreover outstanding what Buck's Baltimore Baseball team has been doing. Winning games 2-1, winning games in extras, winning games 8-6. They'll hold on late, survivor big comebacks, make comebacks and everything in between. I have no real way to explain it other than strengths of mind. I've long been of the belief that our minds are the most powerful tool we can ever tap into.

My mother instilled that in me and I think it's the very thing Buck has done with the 2012 Orioles. I could go on at length about the powers of belief, brotherhood and all that it means but all I really need to say is look at the O's. They are proof that having a mindset, a winning mindset can and will lead to success. I'm not sure when they will come to their senses, maybe they already have but like at seasons' start I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. I hope you do too. The mind is powerful, tell yours to enjoy the birds of Baltimore and block out the past.
