A Year After Teen Killed In Hit-And-Run, Case Remains Unsolved
PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- It's been one year since an Anne Arundel County teen was killed in a hit-and-run. The case remains unsolved, but friends and family are keeping his memory alive.

A year ago, Skylar Marion was walking to a convenience store with some friends when their quick trip took a tragic turn.
Marion was only 15 when he was killed.
"I miss him dearly. I wish he was still here,"said Lauren Gruss, Marion's friend.
On April 12, 2013, Marion was walking down Mountain Road in Pasadena when a driver struck him and then sped away.
"He lost his life over it, and the person didn't stop," his father, Mike Marion, said.
Mike Marion says it's been rough since he lost his son. He says Skylar loved biking and skateboarding and was also very generous. His heart was actually donated to a friend waiting for a transplant.
"God knew what he could do. He couldn't save both, but he could save one. And I went in and asked Skylar, I asked Skylar if I could do that. And I just felt a relief," said Marion.
Saturday night, friends and family held a candlelight vigil marking one year since the hit-and-run.
"He was full of life and just had so much energy. He was out there to make a difference," Gruss said.
Anne Arundel County Police got hundreds of leads, but still have not found the driver. They say the vehicle involved was a 1997 to 2002 Ford Expedition.
"We need somebody to do the right thing. Although we have evidence, somebody knows what happened and we need them to come forward," said David Ennis, Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Skylar's family has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
"Turn yourself in. You took a boy's life. He can't go no more, at all, and you're still out there," Mike Marion said.
Skylar's father also thanked the community for all their support, helping their family and raising money for the reward.
