Former Police Commissioner Ed Norris Involved In Motorcycle Accident
DARLINGTON, Md. (WJZ) -- A former Baltimore police commissioner is recovering after a motorcycle crash.
Police say Ed Norris, who is also a former Superintendent of the Maryland State Police, suffered non-life threatening injuries when a truck pulled out in front of his motorcycle on U.S. Route 1 in Darlington.
Police say the former commissioner and current CBS Radio host swerved to avoid a collision and skid across the road.
He was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma as a precaution.
The driver of the truck, Dedrick Jamal McClain, now faces charges for failing to yield the right of way.
