Elderly Dorchester County Man Killed In House Fire
WINGATE, Md. (WJZ) -- A house fire claims the life of an elderly man in Dorchester County.
Dozens of firefighters battled flames at a home in the 2100-block of Wingate Bishops Head Road Thursday.
Inside the kitchen, they found 89-year-old Ralph Vignuelle Mills, suffering from severe smoke inhalation.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and later died from his injuries.
No one else was hurt in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no smoke alarms in the house.
