Easton Teen's Body Found Along Rural Road

ST. MICHAELS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old Easton man whose body was found near his car along the side of a rural Talbot County road.

Police say the body of Samuel Cross was found early Monday north of St. Michaels on a gravel portion of the road and his car was parked nearby.

Police say Cross may have been in the St. Michaels area with friends on Sunday night. Investigators believe his body may have been moved from the area around the intersection of Claiborne and Old Claiborne roads spot on Bozman-Neavitt Road, where he was found.

The body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
