Dundalk Man Who Planned To 'Take Back' Home Facing More Charges

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)—A Dundalk man is facing additional charges after threatening to "take back his home" in Pennsylavania.

The investigation began on September 2015, when authorities say 56-year-old Howard Cofflin, of Dundalk, threatened to kill his girlfriend and take back his home.

Cofflin was previously barred from going to his home and was staying in Baltimore County under a protective order.

On October 23, 2015, Baltimore County Police seized Cofflin's Dundalk home and recovered parts needed to make an AR-15 assault rifle, two bags of ammo and two bullet proof vests. The suspect told police he planned to take back his residence and his kill his girlfriend and police.

In Baltimore County, Cofflin was charged with a firearms violation and illegal possession of ammunition/

On Wednesday, authorities in Pennsylvania say he is now facing additional charges.
