Driver Traveling Wrong Way On Road Killed
CROFTON, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police say a woman was killed when she drove the wrong way on Route 3 in Crofton.
It happened about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officers say Angela Biggins, 35, of Gaithersburg was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Route 3.
Her car struck another vehicle driven by Garrett Rosario Grill, 18, of Crofton. Grill's car traveled into a ditch; he was not injured.
Biggins' car rotated and stopped in the road. She was taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center, where she died.
The crash is under investigation.
