Dog Tied Up Outside All Night Attempts to Bite Off Its Own Foot to Escape
(CNN) -- A dog left tied up overnight outside a New York animal shelter is now facing possible amputation after it tried to gnaw off its own foot to escape.
The 1-year-old German Shepherd was found around 6 a.m. Saturday outside Animal Care Centers of New York in Brooklyn.
