Deputy, Woman Taken To Hospital After Crash
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- The Carroll County Sheriff's Office say a deputy and another driver were taken to a hospital after a collision on Route 140.
Authorities say Sgt. Brad Brown was traveling west on Route 140 approaching the intersection of Tyrone Road Thursday about 3:30 p.m. when his car hit an SUV operated by Deborah Donlan, 61, of Westminster.
Brown and Donlan were taken to Carroll Hospital Center as a precaution. Deputies say charges are pending the outcome of an investigation.
