THE DEFENSE
Q: How'd you get this bad boy?
A: I ordered it in '03. It's the first convertible Carrera in Maryland. As soon as I saw the interviews, I ordered it. I love it.
Q: Are you a big car guy?
A: I am, car freak. If you're going to spend a lot of time in a car, might as well enjoy what you're driving.
Q: Are you driving around a lot?
A: As long as it's not raining, the car's out. I only live a mile away, so I'm not getting a lot of mileage on this car.
Q: How is the gas mileage?
A: About 16 miles a gallon.
Q: What's the longest trip you've taken with it?
A: I don't really take this on long trips. I have another car for that. Being six foot one, riding in this thing for four hours probably wouldn't be too comfortable.
Q: So it's mainly for getting to work and home?
A: I also just enjoy it a lot. On the weekends, I'll put the top down and take a long drive. A car's more than just A to B. You pay so much for them and they depreciate, so you might as well have fun with them.
Q: What do you usually listen to when you drive around?
A: Anything, varies from country to rock to rap. Whatever I'm in the mood for that day.
Q: Do you play everything loud?
A: Eh, not so much that other people can hear it. But with the top down, they'll probably hear it anyway.
Q: What's your favorite thing about the car?
A: Definitely the drop top. Put the top down on a 70 degree day in January. It's great.
Q: What's your least favorite thing about the car?
A: How low it is. As much as it's great and luxe, and great performance, it's tough to get in and out when you're six foot one.
Q: You must go fast on this thing. What's the fastest?
A: Hit 162.
Q: Wow! Where?
A: On 695. <laughs>
Q: Could you tell us about your license plate?
A: This car has one license plate and my truck has a matching. This one says, "SELLHGH," and my truck says, "BUYLOW."
Q: What do you do?
A: I'm a financial adviser.
