Ice Crust Developing Around Edges Of Chesapeake Bay
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An ice crust is beginning to form around the edges of the Chesapeake Bay as sub-freezing temperatures hit Maryland.
Ice around the Bay is expected to thicken with another winter blast this weekend.
The Coast Guard Sector Maryland National-Capital Region Captain of the Port (COTP) set ice condition three Monday.
They also warned of ice formation on the Chesapeake Bay.
