Case Against Baltimore County Police Chief's Wife Dismissed
BEL AIR, Md. (AP) -- The wife of Baltimore County Police Chief Jim Johnson is no longer facing an assault charge after a judge dismissed the case against her.
Rebecca Johnson was charged in June after her adult foster daughter claimed Johnson had hit her during an argument.
Johnson's lawyer Ned Curry III said after a hearing Wednesday that a Harford County judge agreed to dismiss the case, citing a lack of evidence.
Johnson's foster daughter, Rebecca Johnson, refused to testify during the hearing.
