Tuesday and Wednesday will be the warmest days of the upcoming workweek. Tuesday will feature the most sunshine, with afternoon temperatures in the lower 80s. Wednesday will be the warmest day, with high temperatures soaring into the mid-80s.

The WJZ First Alert Weather Team is forecasting a high temperature of 85° at BWI Marshall Wednesday afternoon, which would be just shy of the record high of 86° set back in 1975.

An isolated shower or thunderstorm will move through Maryland later in the day on Wednesday.

Thursday won't be as warm, with a continued chance of spotty rain showers crossing through the area. Despite the chance of a few showers, more hours on Thursday should be dry than wet, but you'll still want to have an umbrella.
