Body Of Missing Man In Susquehanna River Recovered

PORT DEPOSIT, Md. (AP) -- The body of a 24-year-old swimmer has been found in the Susquehanna River.

Authorities say the body of 24-year-old Matt Bolte was recovered late Sunday afternoon after he jumped off a cliff at a swimming hole near the Pennsylvania state line earlier in the day and never resurfaced. The cliff was 65 feet tall and divers found his body in 45 feet of water.

This was the second body recovered from the Cecil County stretch of the river in less than three weeks due to water-related accidents. On May 29, the body of 22-year-old Jacob Nicholas Zorn was found after a search lasting more than three days.
