BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Passengers of a charter fishing boat in the Chesapeake Bay, off Solomons Island, caught a glimpse of what they believe was a humpback whale on Friday.
One man took video of the whale surfacing several times, and estimates it was about 35 to 40 feet long.

Yes, that Solomons! Dave, a former Charter Boat captain himself, was working with Capt. Brian Elder and Capt. Richie Roberts aboard the Marcy Lynn, operating from Bunky's Marina on Solomons Island.
