BLOG: Vlad's In The House!!
The day I've been awaiting for only about seven years happened yesterday. Vladimir Guerrero walked into the Baltimore Orioles spring training clubhouse in Sarasota, Fla to report for duty. He still had to officially pass a physical, but we all hope that's just a formality. Word that he took a superman t-shirt out of one of his bags was both amusing and exciting. I realize he's not the player he used to be, but I still expect him to be a dangerous part of this Orioles batting order. More importantly, he will act as protection for Nick Markakis, Derrek Lee, Brian Roberts, etc in the lineup.
