Bill Cosby Stumps For Baltimore City Mayoral Candidate
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Comedian Bill Cosby lends his star power to a local man aiming to take Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's job.
Cosby attended a campaign fundraiser for Otis Rolley Tuesday night at the Tremont Grand downtown.
Rolley served as former chief-of-staff for former Mayor Shiela Dixon.
Cosby said he admires Rolley's story, rising to a position of prominence after a childhood spent in poverty.
Campaigns are now gearing up for the next mayoral election in the fall of 2012.
