Maryland Art Place is a space at Power Plant intended to inspire and encourage artistic expression. Maryland Art Place's exhibitions and programs are intended to bring art to Baltimore and showcase its impact. The space has been in operation since 1981 and uses Twitter to share news about artists and upcoming exhibits. Recent tweets include descriptions and links to learn more about artists in a showcase. Maryland Art Place also uses Twitter to share event availability and information about renting the space, as well as promoting Baltimore restaurants, shows and vendors.
