Best Halloween Parties In Downtown Baltimore

Halloween's a double-edged sword: everyone gets to wear costumes and run amuck, but kids are everywhere. For a little adults-only action, the best Halloween parties in Baltimore promise all of the glitz and ghouls and none of the trick-or-treaters.

Enjoy drink specials including $3 Angry Orchard cider, $4 Jager shots and $20 86-ounce bucket of ooze. These buckets are a great deal for a group, serving at least four people. Guests may choose from a variety of concoctions to fill up their bucket, including Adios Mofos, Hurricanes and Party Rock!, just to name a few. Make sure to dress up, as there will be a costume contest in which participants may win up to $1,500 in cash and prizes. The dueling pianos will play all evening, taking requests from the crowd. As an added bonus, Howl at the Moon is offering guests a chance to win their own happy hour the night of the event, which will guarantee no cover charge for the winner and up 100 of his or her friends, as well as other spectacular discounts on drinks. The venue is located inside the Power Plant Live! in the heart of downtown Baltimore.

One of Baltimore's most popular tequila bars, Mex Power Plant Live! will host a special Thriller Halloween party this year. Enjoy $3 zombie shooters of Washington Apple, Grand Slam and Raspberry Burst, among others. Compete in a costume contest offering $1,000 worth of cash and prizes for the winners. Similar to Howl at the Moon, Mex offers its guests the opportunity to book their own happy hour with no cover charge and $3 drinks all night long.

A special Halloween pub crawl takes place twice this Halloween season throughout Baltimore. This event is the largest organized crawl in the city and promises ample booze, scares and laughs. With all of the bars lined up for the night, it's hard to list all of the awesome drink specials but guests can expect deals like $2 domestic drafts, $3 domestic bottles and $4 well drinks. After registration, participants crawl until the bars shut down.

Found in downtown Baltimore, The Ottobar is a unique and energetic rock bar famous for its musical acts. The Ottobar is hosting the band The Toasters with opening acts that include Sovereign Sound System and Mason Summers. There is no cover charge and tickets are only $12. The Ottobar is a small venue, but with the well-priced drinks and great music, it will be well worth maneuvering through the crowd there this Halloween.
