Barricade Ends In Northeast Baltimore; Man Charged With Attempted Murder
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A man surrenders to police after barricading himself for more than three hours.
It began when police tried to serve Walter McCoy, 35, an arrest warrant in a home in the 5100 block of Darien Road.
The warrant was tied to a shooting Saturday night in the 1400 block of Lakewood Avenue.
The victim was shot in both legs and identified the shooter as McCoy, the father of her 4-year-old child.
The woman is in stable condition.
Police said she filed a protective order against McCoy in 2012.
McCoy has been charged with attempted murder.
