Baltimore Police Investigating a Triple Shooting in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --  Baltimore City officials are investigating a triple shooting in East Baltimore. Two of the victims are reported to be children.

Officers responded to the 900 Block of McAleer Court around 8 p.m. on Saturday night. Police say they found a 60 year old woman suffering from a gunshot wound in her right leg. Two children were also found with gunshot wounds. A 4 year old girl was shot in the foot and an 8 year old boy was shot in the leg. All three were taken to an area hospital for non life threatening injuries.

Citywide Shooting detectives arrived on the scene to investigate this shooting.

Authorities say the woman and two children were outside along with other people when at least one gunman walked up and opened fire. After firing the weapon, the gunman fled westbound on foot on McAleer Court.
