Baltimore Officer Recorded Beating Man Indicted By Grand Jury
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore police officer who was caught on camera repeatedly punching a man on a sidewalk has been indicted on multiple charges.
State's Attorney for Baltimore Marilyn Mosby announced Tuesday afternoon that the officer, identified as Arthur Williams by attorney Warren Brown, has been charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and behavior unbecoming of an officer.
A video went viral Saturday after Williams was caught brutally beating the man, identified as Dashawn McGrier, for 12 seconds.

Williams was suspended and has since resigned.
The second officer involved has been placed on administrative duties and is not facing charges at this time.
