Baltimore Co. Police Investigating Deadly Hit-And Run Involving MTA Bus
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—An investigation is underway after authorities say a multiple vehicle accident, involving an MTA bus, claims the life of one person.
It happened on Tuesday at Liberty Road and Essex Road in Woodlawn.
Police say a Mercedes Benz traveling westbound struck a pedestrian, then proceeded to side swipe a Honda Civic going westbound, then struck an MTA and fled the scene on foot.
Police confirm at least five people were injured in the incident.
Investigators could not provide a description of the suspect at this time.
