The forecast remains pleasant heading into the middle of the week across Maryland

A wonderful stretch of weather continues through Wednesday afternoon. Get outside and enjoy it! Rounds of scattered showers and storms will return Thursday... and continue off-and-on through the weekend. 

After peaking in the upper 70s and lower 80s, temperatures quickly cool back into the 60s and 70s through the course of the evening under a mostly clear sky. Some patchy fog is possible by morning.

Pleasant weather continues on Tuesday. Temperatures will bottom-out in the 50s and lower 60s in many communities away from the bay around sunrise. It'll warm back into the low and mid-80s with lots of sunshine on Tuesday afternoon. 

Humidity remains low through Wednesday afternoon. While there could be a stray shower, or two, over the next few days, most of the time looks rain-free. 

Stormy weather returns to Maryland late this week

The chance of unsettled weather goes back up as the workweek comes to an end. The chance of wet weather starts to creep up as early as Wednesday night, with a bigger spike on Thursday.

Afternoon temperatures will also nudge back up into the mid and upper 80s,as well. It will feel a little hotter with increasing humidity factored in.

An early look at the Ravens' pre-season game against the Washington Commanders includes temperatures in the mid-80s and a chance of spotty showers and storms. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium. The First Alert Weather Team will continue fine-tune the forecast as Friday approaches. 

Right now, the wettest day of this upcoming stretch looks to be Thursday. Heavy rain is possible. Following a few showers and storms on Saturday, plan on another spike in rain chances Sunday afternoon.
